Hi all,

My name is Will Denker and I am the current skipper for the UVM keelboat team. We compete locally in mallets bay on J-24s, but are phasing that out in order to train for larger college events. We currently compete in 7 national level collegiate offshore events and our most commonly sailed boat is a J-105. We are looking into chartering a J-105 in the fall somewhere in Burlington to train for these events. Our crew is well experienced and 100% race ready. I personally own a J-105 in Boston, and have lots of experience on them, as does most of our keelboat team. If you know of anyone with a J-105 or you own one that you would be willing to charter in the fall season (Mid August- October) please feel free to free to reach out. Open to other boats of the variety as well, J-92, J-100, basically any 30+ft asymmetrical boat. On another note, I am constantly looking for boats to sail on in the spring and fall so feel free to add me to your crew lists for all those weekend races!!

Cruising

Lake Champlain offers some of the best freshwater cruising in North America. The beautiful scenery and charming lakeside destinations make it a great place to explore. LCYC organizes several rendezvous events. Spontaneous cruising events also materialize throughout the season. We have a number of scheduled events planned for the summer season. Cruisers are out and about just about every weekday and weekend throughout the summer.
