Dry Sail storage area - info and map

In the south parking lot of the club are designated storage areas for drysailed sailboats (up to 23') and small sailing dinghies (Laser, RS Aero, Melges 15) on dollies. There is an annual fee for drysail storage. There is no fee for sailing dinghies. We have a program, with limited space, for non members who wish to participate in our Thursday night Dinghy racing series, to keep a Laser or RS Aero at the club for a nominal fee. Details are in the Watercraft storage rules, map and dinghy program documents (below).

This storage is under the supervision of the Grounds Chair. If you have questions, contact the chair.

Club

LCYC is a member-run yacht club located in a sheltered cove on the southwest shore of Shelburne Bay in Shelburne, Vermont, USA. We offer moorings, activities, and community for our members, most of whom own a sailboat or powerboat. The object of the Club is to promote and encourage boating and sailing on Lake Champlain, while emphasizing racing, cruising, and education, without financial gain. Cruising

Lake Champlain offers some of the best freshwater cruising in North America. The beautiful scenery and charming lakeside destinations make it a great place to explore. LCYC organizes several rendezvous events. Spontaneous cruising events also materialize throughout the season. We have a number of scheduled events planned for the summer season. Cruisers are out and about just about every weekday and weekend throughout the summer.
