Lake Champlain Yacht Club invites you to join our 2024 Etchells Regatta
Please complete the registration process and sign the waiver.
3.1. The regatta is open to all boats of the International Etchells Class.
3.2. Eligible boats may enter by filling out this registration and paying the regatta entry fee by check payable to LCYC (mailed to Eric Schulz 176 Buckingham Dr. Colchester, VT 05446) or via Venmo (@LCYCTreasurer - the four digit number is 0557).
4. FEES
4.1. The entry fee for a crew of 3 is $225, for a crew of 4 entry fee is $250. There is a late fee of $50 for registering after 25 August 2024.
5. The registration fee includes launch, haul, three Saturday dinner tickets, guest berthing at Burlington Bay Marina for visiting boats, and all regatta activities. Boats that paid the registration fee for a crew of four will receive four dinner tickets. Additional tickets will be available upon request.

LCYC is a member-run yacht club located in a sheltered cove on the southwest shore of Shelburne Bay in Shelburne, Vermont, USA. We offer moorings, activities, and community for our members, most of whom own a sailboat or powerboat. The object of the Club is to promote and encourage boating and sailing on Lake Champlain, while emphasizing racing, cruising, and education, without financial gain. Lake Champlain offers some of the best freshwater cruising in North America. The beautiful scenery and charming lakeside destinations make it a great place to explore. LCYC organizes several rendezvous events. Spontaneous cruising events also materialize throughout the season. We have a number of scheduled events planned for the summer season. Cruisers are out and about just about every weekday and weekend throughout the summer.

Lake Champlain Yacht Club has an active junior sailing program, open to all children ages 8-17. We use Optimist prams and Flying Junior dinghies for instruction and racing. Full and half-day sessions are offered for all ability levels over an eight week period each summer. All of our Instructors are US Sailing certified and have extensive experience.
Lake Champlain is a beautiful venue for sailboat racing, with friendly competitors. LCYC features a summer-long Wednesday Night racing series, a one-design Etchells series, Singlehanded Dinghy Racing, and weekend lake races.
The Lake Champlain Championship Series includes races from Lake Champlain Yacht Club, Mallets Bay Boat Club, Diamond Island Yacht Club, and Plattsburgh Mayor's Cup.
