LCYC runs a junior sailing program, instructing youth on sailing and racing. The program uses Flying Juniors and Optimist dinghys for training and regional races. Our location on Shelburne Bay is a wonderful place to learn how to sail.
2012 PROGRAM
The 2012 schedule has been coordinated with our neighboring sailing programs on Lake Champlain and Lake George to ensure that our sailors have as many opportunities to sail together as possible. Please open the 2012 Junior Program Application at the top of this page for a week by week schedule.
May 3 update: Sessions continue to fill in the summer. If your summer schedule is filling, book your camp now, as many of the sessions are getting close to capacity. Summer is getting closer! This week's weather is getting everyone thinking about lakefront activities. I'm excited to announce that we will have two lead instructors this summer, Erika Merrell and Connor Aswad. Silas Hill and Gabe Matenga are returning to the program as full time junior instructors. I hope to have biographies of our staff posted in the very near future.

Youngsters will be placed into groups based on their age and their level of experience or competence.
