RC is open to all club members. No Racing or RC experience is required. It's a fun way to get your volunteer hours.
To sign up:
- Click on this link: Racing Events
- Click on "Log in" (upper right side) to login to your account
- Find the event for which you would like to volunteer
- No name under RC means the event is still open for signup
- Click on the name of the event...this opens the page for the event
- At the bottom of the page click on “Sign up for RC”
- A new page should appear showing you as signed up and you should also get an email confirmation
Key Points:
- All active racers are required to do RC a minimum of once every year
- On May 15 any racers with an obligation for 2026 who have not signed up will be assigned an event
- When you sign up for RC you are committing to bring the full complement of crew as noted below
- RC signup for Dinghy racing is handled separately from this process
Note:
- If you are interested in volunteering for RC as an individual, do NOT sign up for RC on the website
- Email crew_match@lcyc.info indicating the event(s) in which you are interested
RC Crew commitment:
- For Wednesday nights - a minimum of 3 people including yourself
- For Weekend and E Series events - a minimum of 2 people including yourself
- This commitment may be reduced if individual volunteers happen to sign up for your event
Once the season starts, if you can no longer make your event, you own finding a replacement !!
