Thanks to everyone who made it to the Dave Dellenbaugh racing tactics session last night! A great crowd of 63 sailors listened in on start line positioning, strategy versus tactics, looking for clues on the race course for more speed and some friendly discussion on how to do a beautiful leeward mark rounding. A lot of very cool drone footage made the situations he discussed really clear. Plus, all attendees received two great workbooks detailing what he discussed plus a lot more. Thanks again to everyone who attended and Dave for giving such a great seminar!

The website for the 2018 Lake Champlain Championship Series has been updated. Be sure to check out the new tie-break criteria for the ten-race Champlain Series - it has been re-structured to better reflect and reward the core impetus of that Series, the encouragement of racers to get out of their own nautical back-yards and go race in other events in our Lake Champlain neighborhoods. http://lcchampionshipseries.org/

Cruising

Lake Champlain offers some of the best freshwater cruising in North America. The beautiful scenery and charming lakeside destinations make it a great place to explore. LCYC organizes several rendezvous events. Spontaneous cruising events also materialize throughout the season. We have a number of scheduled events planned for the summer season. Cruisers are out and about just about every weekday and weekend throughout the summer.
