Great turnout last night for what was likely one of if not the best night of the season. 51 boats!! Sounds like a record number to me. Thanks Bern Collins and RC for setting a great course in the winds we had.

Great night! I think we might have to starting painting or chalking lines on the grass to fit all the parking!

Many thanks to Laura Dunphy & Meg Wallace for their "eleventh hour" assistance on the mark boat. On Tuesday afternoon, I was informed that, once again, a Mark Steward would not be available for the Wednesday Night Race; when I asked if any of the Junior Sailing Instructors would like to volunteer, one the comments was, "Not for all the money in the world!" Laura & Meg, although not having ever experienced the joy of this task, were willing to give it a try. With only a bag of Gold Fish crackers for sustenance, they worked an extra strenuous four plus hours (at least) after a long day with Junior Sailors, and they did a great job! When you want a job done..........
