Just trying to get a topic started for boats that need crew, or crew that need boats. Judging from last season, many boats were hurting for crew more than I have observed in previous years, and if we get the word out there, I dont think this should be a problem in the future. If everyone can bring one person, just one person, there would be no empty boats, everyone would get to race, and we'd introduce a whole new group of people to the sport we so enjoy.

Eager to race
Looking to help crew for races. Have sailing experience (3rd season sailing my modest O'Day 240) but no racing experience. Willing to work hard and learn fast. Former advanced EMT, but still up on my skills. Physically fit. Pick up skills and concepts quickly.
Eventually would like to learn enough to race my own boat in a year or two.
Hope to be of use to someone this season. Available nights and weekends. Willing to crew outside of races (e.g. practice).
