The Etchells Fleet was out today in a fairly blustery breeze. Breeze might be too mild a word for the 20-some knot gusts that shot us around the WL course for the first two races. However, we were all smokin' and hulls-a-hummin', on the downwind leg of race three when the winds really kicked in - over 25knots, maybe some gusts at ~30 (the RC has a less subjective viewpoint I am sure). What fun! Pure and utter heaven!
A very big thank-you to our PRO and Race Committee: Fritz Horton, Jenny and Chris Leopold, and Don Rathbone for giving us the opportunity to race.
