Am I doing something wrong or do I have to type in my e-mail address and password every time I want to visit the club website.
I do not know why this has to be such a secure site. I find that I do not care to visit it as often.

Logging In
95% of the site content is available whether you login or not, so you do not have to login to read information, read forum posts and blogs, view photos, see race results, etc. You DO have to login to be able to post messages, signup for RC duty, add photos and access any member information.
If you use Safari or Firefox as a web browser, they can remember your username and password so you don't have to login each time, or you just have to hit return in the login area at most. If you use Internet Explorer, you may not stay logged in. Also, if you have your security software set to reject cookies, even from sites that you trust or choose to visit, you will have to login each time. You may want to check those settings.
Mac users should be all set with Safari, although Firefox is great too. My number one suggestion for Windows users is to download, install and use Firefox. It is faster, smoother and more standards-complient than Internet Explorer and will give you a better web experience on both this site and most others. You can download it here:
http://getfirefox.com/
They also offer a really nice email program to replace Outlook, called Thunderbird. You can get it here:
http://getthunderbird.com/
Both those programs are free and open source and supported by thousands of developers worldwide who donate their time to those projects, just like with the Drupal, CiviCRM and Gallery software that powers this site. In fact, if you visit those sites, you will notice that all of them all powered by Drupal, just like our site. Please let me know if you have any more questions or comments.

Most clubs have members only area
Hey Trent....other clubs that are out there that have any guts at all, have Member Only areas, so that the world is not privy to all the stuff that goes on. As Jason says.....using FireFox as a browser makes it really simple. I downloaded it and got it all set up in about 10 minutes!! Makes using the web in general a much friendly experience.
