Rozalia Project at LCYC Speaker Series

Rachael Miller from the Rozalia Project for Clean Oceans was LCYC’s host for the August Speakers’ Series. She provided a fascinating overview of what’s being done to help keep our waterways clean as well as giving us a preview of a new product, the Cora Ball—a simple device designed to be dropped into washing machines, right along with the wash, to help fight the growing problem of micro-fibers in our ecosystem. It was a great evening that provided plenty of information about what we all can do to keep the waters clean that we enjoy so much.
Next up, and our final Speakers’ Series of the summer, Michael Kerbaugh will tell us about his cruise along the coast of Croatia. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 19, at 7pm. It should be a great way to cap off this summer series.

We offer moorings, activities, and community for our members, most of whom own a sailboat or powerboat. The object of the Club is to promote and encourage boating and sailing on Lake Champlain, while emphasizing racing, cruising, and education, without financial gain. Please let us know if you are interested in membership!
