Tuesday night, with the help of my website collaborators, Dale Hyerstay and Ernie Reuter, I made a presentation to the LCYC Board of Directors regarding the new website. Members were updated on the current status and future plans for the site, as well as how and why we moved to this new system. They had great questions and feedback and everyone was excited about all the new possibilities this database-driven site can offer our members and management.

I'd like to thank the board for giving me time and supporting our work. I also want to thank Ernie for setting up the meeting and contributing a lot of great content to the new site, particularly news and calendar events, and Dale for putting in a lot of work on the informational content of the site. We have a bright future here and I hope all members can get involved in the features that interest them.
