How many yacht clubs in the United States are lucky enough to celebrate a 125th Anniversary?!  As one of the oldest in the country, Lake Champlain Yacht Club is doing just that in 2012, with two major events.  The first is on Saturday, June 9, when LCYC members and guests will step aboard the steamer Ticonderoga, now preserved in all its glory at the Shelburne Museum, to celebrate the Club’s founding in 1887.

During Tom Glynn's term as Regatta Chairman, he and Steve Adams did a thorough review of the Notices of Race and the Sailing Instructions. This facilitated their migration from printed Racer Handbooks to listing all LCYC racer rules and information on the LCYC website. Tom also set up online racer registration. The only changes you'll see this year are that the NORs and SIs have been streamlined a bit, and the online listings and configurations have been refined slightly.
