ISAF is pleased to announce that there will be a series of Kiteboarding format trials held in Santander, Spain from 21-25 March. The Prince Felipe High Performance Centre that is hosting the evaluation event will also host the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships.

Sivitz and Farneti (ITA) and Kyranakou and Kisters (NED) Take 470 Junior Worlds Top Honours
Afrodite Kyranakou and Jeske Kisters of Netherlands held onto their top position and became the Women's Junior World Champions with a small margin over the defending champion Annika Bochmann with Elisabeth Panuschka of Germany. In the Mixed/Men's fleet the Italian crew Simon Sivitz and Jas Farneti cemented their dominance of the regatta with a second placing behind New Zealand's Gareth Moore and Ben Goodwin.

Ministry Of Sports Affairs In Oman Receives ISAF Accreditation
Recommendation for full accreditation of the Omani National Sail Training Programme has been successfully approved by ISAF. The five day inspection from 10-14 November 2011 included a comprehensive review of the programme management combined with visits to sailing schools at Marina Banda Al Rowdha and Mussannah.

More Than 200 Sailors For Sail Auckland
For the first time in its sixteen year history, Sail Auckland will be hosted at the Royal Akarana Yacht Club. More than two hundred competitors from thirteen countries begin racing on the Waitemata Harbour on 4 February and runs until 7 February in the Olympic, Paralympic and other invited classes.
